Well....mine latches fine but I still have a gap at the radiator. Cowl fit is snug. Do you get rainwater collecting in any of the spark plug wells under certain rain conditions?
I'm also in the habit of disconnecting the battery if I expect the truck to be idle for an extended period of time. Are you planning on installing the type that mounts on the battery terminal, or a remote mounted switch? I'm still running six volt and find the amp. capacity of the battery mounted type too low. Thinking of going to a H.D. marine switch.
