I've got a dump body on my '55 PW. I bracketed an old bee-hive style light at a 45 degree angle at each of the four corners, thereby satisfying front, rear, and side requirements. I mounted them under the body and slightly recessed for protection. I believe to be 'D.O.T. legal' eight lights would be required if not mounted in that fashion. Building the body from scratch, however, offers many more creative options.
Many 40's and 50's style lights show up on eBay, but prices many times require a second mortgage on your house.
