WOW!! I certainly did not expect quite the response form my simple question about fine threaded bolts on the power wagon. I learned a lot, and that is why I asked the question. Thank you for all the responses.

Now onto the engineering rant... I am an electrical engineer by education 30+ years ago. That formal education taught me how to think and solve problems. I knew how to solder long before I went to college.

I have not designed a circuit in the past 15 years, but I learn something new every day.

I've always been a hands on person. In the last eight years I've been to Iraq twice and Afghanistan once, and I've spent more time outside the wire locked and loaded in combat zones than anyone should.

The one thing I have learned, and I wish everyone would think about, is that everyone brings something to the table. Some people can't navigate for beans. Some can't weld.. Some can't write... some can't change spark plugs or injectors... Some people can't shoot, and some people can't drive.

But.. Everyone brings something to the table. And that is why things work.

I realize as I get older that I am not as smart as I once thought I was, and that you can die at any time. I respect 100% what others do and realize that everyone does their part. Passion is good, emotions are often of no value.

Now about those fine threaded bolt!!!!!

Having a great time in Davidsonville Maryland tinkering wtih my '56 Power Wagon!

Wayne
