I used to set up everything parallel . But have found that a few degrees generally does not seem to make a difference . That said I have found some other peoples vehicles that had weird harmonics and vibrated like crazy . Once the pinion angle was changed to match the engine and trans angle the vibes would go away .
Give it a try , if you have vibration problems then go chase them down . Double cardon joint is easy enough to add later if need be .
