Okay, another hint. When I run it with the vacuum line to the distributor advance disconnected and plugged at the carburetor it runs fine at all rpms, also remember this is a new diaphragm that is working correctly, starts to move the points at 8 and advances 17 degrees at full manifold vacuum of 19.
Time to look in the Xfiles??
