Nick, one thing I have done on my trailer floor was to add walnut shells to the paint for texture. You can get them at a good paint store, and they are really fine, like sand. As you paint, you need to keep them agitated in the paint. The finished surface is like sandpaper - I can walk my trailer ramp in full snow without slipping. I call it my poor man's LineX. I did it 6 years ago, on wood, and there are parts that could use re painting. Also, there are places that sell a stick on treading, like for marble stairs. You could paint gloss, then add this where the wear will be. Matt
