My son is a paramedic/firefighter and says that he responds to so many calls for 50+ year old men who have such symptoms. They ignore them and then the next day or hours later they are dead.
The widows say that their husband said he had some chest pain or dizziness, and it would pass. Their now deceased husbands said there was nothing to worry about.
The survivors say it wasn't anything serious, but they learned their lesson. A paramedic would rather respond to something that could be treated or at least tell the guy that they will be OK versus having to take them out in a body bag because they ignored the signs and thought they could tough it out. This is a lesson for all of us over 50.
I hope the guy recovers and thanks to your monitoring he at least has a chance. Good job!
