yes actually all of the spring packs are in great shape front and rears

strange cuz how can the drums on the rolling chassison be clean smooth surface and the hubs all roll well no slop and the brake cyl shoes and adjusting screws are gone-------must have been some good cylinders and shoes in there
either that are somebody was in the process of redoing and had surfaced the drums and had the shoes and wh cyl out to refurbish, also all the diffs axles and drivelines have been pulled but they are all there and seem tight as is the tc out of the truck

this is kinda cool cuz they are already out of the truck so I do what needs to be done ---if anything---lol and just swap em

if i had the bucks the best thing to do would be just start with all that clean and paint the frame which is all sound except something got to the reinforcement brackets riveted to the frame over the rear axle stops, must have been brake fluid and they are completely gone but the frame is good and do a frame up restore------but sorry to say that is going to be a long slow process as i decide what sheetmetal I will use and find the funds

the green open cab has a frozen 230 but got the fan for the 237 and maybe a radiator, not sure how good it is, but this maybe could be turned around and redue the spouts but probably better off with a custom radiator of the same capacity

I think I have got it figured out how to do it without moving the grill as there are 2 and a half inches from the 230 radiator to the grill(I only need two in.s), the factory radiator is plus or minus 3 and a half
so i will move the radiator forward to the grill out of the front clip frame it is centered in and mount it to the back side of the front clip frame flange shiming accordingly to get the radiator thickness needed to just be shy of the grill or I could just mount the radiator to the grill--better yet, the tricky part will be the spouts

as i said kinda cool as I got two if not three of everything in most cases
so what I want to do is get the orange beast running bywith the motor as is and get to know her a tad as swap out refurbishe running gear brakes etc.

it has a booster and they can sleeve the mcs and wheel cylinders here so I will have all that redone while I swap out the leaky yokes for any good ones i have or speedy sleeve with new seals try to tighten up the steering as best I can and see how she goes

most of the torsion bars and the little front shock jigamajigs are worn out and canted over to one side i assume cuz of wear, there are some that are not so far canted over and some straight ones i assume i can take t hose to the same guys that rebuild the tie rod ends
