I learned about Picklex from the guys at the autobody store site.
They use is in their bodywork and like it.
I have found it helps to "hold" the metal and prevent flash rust from humidity in the air for metal I keep in my shop, until I have time to paint it.
I agree that it is of little use outside.
It is not designed to protect metal outside or where moist air is blowing on or around it.
For that reason, I would like to find a better product if available and not too expensive.
The one Kaegi mentioned sounds interesting.
