I guess this teaches me a lesson. I had the heater out while rewiring and painting. It was dumb of me not to replace the hoses at that time. I think I will just pull the heater back out. It's not that big of a deal. That way maybe I can save the old one. It's in very good shape, just old and stiff. (Like me :))
