as far as I can tell it came from the seller that way, no studs in the housing or to be found anywhere in the truck, only a cover for a smaller diff.
two trucks have a cover on the front but no covers on the rears and the bare chassis has all the covers welded in place
what I like about these trucks is the leaf springs are thicker and look to be wider 2 in. instead of 1 3|4 like the wdx and wms
also the drag link is beefier, which could easily be used on a wdx style, not to mention the gauge thickness of the frame is more better
