I went back to put the cover on but noticed the flange where the studs go was surface rusted over and then I noticed no studs, but I found couple bolts the right side and tried to bolt it up the holes were all in the right places but the cover hit the ring gear before it bolted up

I guess someone needed a big diff. cover and the studs and left me with a small one
