I used to buy 60,000 pounds of cresote lumber to build cattle pens for ranches we were working on doing dozer and motrgrader work on, now days they say cresote is toxic and must be hauled off to a state approved landfill with a liner in it, omg, remeber getting sawdust all over me while cutting out giant lag bolts and galavinized hardware out of them so cows would not get injured from it, some still standing like new 30 years since built with second hand hurricane salavage lumber from piers down on the gulf coast, lots of crestoe is going to Mexico on barages as i see it once in a while on the intercoastal going past the ranch where somebody has sold the old black lumber to mexico and rebuilt with the sorry green csa stuff we have to use nowdays...
