The local NAPA said green (one of the more expensive colors) would be about $225 a gallon for their single stage paint which they mix at the store.
I just bought Rustoleum Industrial black for $25.00 a gallon (usually about $37.00) at OSH. They are closing out the gallon can sizes. There are many videos on You Tube about painting cars with Rustoleum. Be sure to use the more expensive grade if you try this. There are two grades.
Two part epoxy primer runs about $150 a gallon.
I suspect we will see more Rustoleum paint jobs. Or, better yet, keep the original patina if you are lucky enough to have an original paint job truck.
