I assumed the idea was to run the reversed TC last since OD would not be needed in 4WD. I looked into this a little bit about 10 years ago, figuring on getting one of the 1.5:1 NP200s from Sid Beck, for a .67 OD instead of the .51 OD from a standard 1.96:1 NP200. I thought it would not be a problem if running synthetic atleast in the "OD" transfer and ear plugs. The ear plugs part is not really a joke, as I imagine it would be quite loud.

Anyway, in my mind, the 1.5("OD") transfer case would be mounted last, with its input lining up with the original TC output, then converted to straight through on the "OD" TC.

All in all, just a bit too "Rube Goldberg" for my tastes and really, that is saying something. If it's all you have, then I say go for it. I'd much prefer a modified Laycock(Dennan) or a Browny 5831 over the reversed TC, but I do believe the reversed TC has *some* merit.
