With coming of warm or even hot weather, my concern(fear) of vapor lock is also growing. My current solution is that I have gone the electric fuel pump route (I know this is controversial)but I have had poor luck with my conventional pump. Also have black fiberglass woven tubing over metal fuel line routed far away as possible from manifold. I have a fuel filter mounted before the fuel pump and after gas tank on frame. Left over from the old days is a second clear plastic fuel filter (redundant) before carburetor. Should this be removed as I have heard this will aggravate the situation since fuel expands when it enters that filter? Of course there is the clothes pin solution. What is the definitive approach to curing vapor lock?
