Another year of setbacks, so, NP435?

Well, we owe $1200 in taxes, I went into anaphylactic shock and was rushed to the hospital (no insurance), and my raise was a whopping fifteen cents this year. So far, 2012's already got me strapped. Not being the negative sort (at least when it comes to Mopars), I figure I'll just throw parts at my '50 and see what sticks as the year trots merrily along. Since my 360 will be at the very least a few months away from being assembled, I have decided that a transmission swap would be the easy first-step in the meantime.

I already have a LONG input/output, dual-window NP435 with hydraulic bellhousing out of a '90 Dodge 250 that was married to an NP231 (241? I can't remember) transfer case. I have been offered by a friend to trade the transmission and transfer case plus $200 for a '61-68 dual-window NP435 and associated parts for the swap that Ray has given us the lowdown on. Right now, I can swing that $200, as apparently my ability to save back spare change has improved over the years. I can bear the thought of doing without a Chelsea 352 PTO for the summer, if it MUST be. I might be a few crayons short of being the sharpest sandwich in the toolshed, but there'll probably be ten instances where I'll need the winch if I can't use it, and zero if I can. Blast that Confucious fellow. The weather's nice, a bay in my garage looks inviting, and I'm tired of having to double-clutch every time I move the truck under its own power. So, finally, my question...

How difficult would it be, and what parts would it require, to put the '61-68 NP435 in the truck, attached to the original 230 and transfer case? The engine runs great, so it could potentially hold up just fine until I get the 360 finished and ready to drop in/on the truck/me sometime this year. I am positive this has been covered, uncovered, made a sticky, and become common knowledge over the years, but connecting dots is like getting perfectly symmetrical cheese portions with a cheese slicer for me- it ain't happening. Can anyone enlighten me on just how this could be pulled off with the least difficulty (the trans swap- I gave up on the cheese)? I'm all ears. Thanks in advance!
