flat tow question

I know there are some towing experts on here. Here's a question that I need help with. Can I flat tow a 76 chevy 3/4 ton w/ automatic and full time 4x4 by shifting the transfer case to nuetral? I've been looking on line and I read some say to do it that way w/ the auto trans in park and the transfer in nuetral, others say to put both in nuetral. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
