I haven't needed to resort to a manual in a looong time. Good thing there was one on the bookshelf.

Lots of mechanism inside. Real PITA.

Mostly, it needed complete disassembly to eliminate the column shift tube and lever. Plus, removing the lock cylinder because the junkyard had no key. Cheap though, $50. Plus a future trip to the locksmith, getting a key cut to match the code on the cylinder will be cheaper than a new cylinder, $25.

All this to suit the Saginaw PS box, plus get a turn signal system, a wheel that can be optioned, and horn contacting system. And the wheel looks good too, with it's Penta-Star in the middle.
