With the assistance of my wife, we finally got the headliner in place. I had taken the advice in Don Bunn's book, which I am sure at one point was logical advice, to put the lower panels in first and lap the upper panel over the outside of the tops of those panels. Had I been paying better attention to the kit I got from Roberts, I would have realized the vinyl trim on the top was going to go over the upper piece. So I had to remove them and reinstall them. Not a big deal, but anyone contemplating headliner installation might want to remember this little point. The Roberts kit was satisfactory, but did require a lot of trimming and even more patience. Tomorrow I will finish installing the metal trims and windlace around the doors as well as the rear window.
