I seem to remember that there were a few guys on this forum that had knowledge of larger military trucks as well. I am looking for some information, or a parts breakdown for an "air pack brake" off of a M35A2 truck. There are a couple listed on Ebay, and I want to find out if it might be adaptable to replace the booster on my Unimog. Is anyone familiar with them? Are they air, or vacuum operated? What diameter brake lines and fittings do they use? How big are the booster and brake cylinders? etc.

I have a 1967 Unimog 406 (6 cyl. diesel) that I have been unable to source brake booster parts for. Most of the seals, rings etc. are still available, BUT the main control valve that runs the unit is obsolete/no longer serviced. The unit is a German made Westinghouse air over hydraulic remote booster located on the rear frame. The fittings are metric, but all of the internals are inch sizes.

Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks
