over drive units?

Hi. I'm a newbie to the forum. I've been looking and reading about the Power Wagons. Thinking about buying one and want to know if there is a way to make them more highway speed friendly. Anyone ever put a Gear Vendor over drive unit on one? They look pretty nice.

Or another way to ask the question... How best to get them to a reasonable highway speed? Can changing the rear end get you at a comfortable 55mph? Thank you all! Bill
