I just got reminded why I would have been sorry to sell the WC This weekend. I went down and took it out of my friends storage unit to store it at another friends (My shop is full of torn down Jeeps currently). It was about a 8-10 mile drive, 34° with a bit of a North wind.... I put on the coveralls and headed out with my buddy Bill following behind in my pickup and my Blue Heeler Boris riding shotgun...not too bad with the canvas on...when we got to his house, I asked Bill how fast I was going (never did hook up the speedo) and he said we were between 45 and 50 the whole way. I think I am going to swap back to a manual trans and get real driveshafts made for it now.
