Didnt I tell you to stop all that hot roding? It will never be the Ferrari you always wanted. As far as shaving the head goes I would say you can shave it down as far as you want as long as the valves do not hit anything. There probably is a spec. on this but on the ultralow performance flathead i dont think too much compression will ever be an issue. My neighbor used to tell me about a Plymouth he had driven as a kid and in the need to go faster he shaved the head. He claimed it was hard on head gaskets, normally burning through them between the cylinders where the gasket is thinnest(either between 4+5 or 3+4 i dont remember).
