The only reason I started shooting them was they get into the attic above my garage and my shop buildings, into my pump house, into any outside storage building. They chewed out the insulation in the wall of the pump house to build a nest, resulting in freeze-up in the water system. They got into boxes of stuff we had stored in the garage attic and chewed everything up. I don't like killing them, but I don't like what the destruction they cause.
