You would shorten the pedal travel by about 40% and reduce the braking force by the same amount. Think of how skinny the "master cylinder" is on a hydraulic bottle jack. That translates into lots of force. The standard brakes need careful adjustment to be strong enough as is. I wouldn't want to deliberately weaken them by 40%.
