I don't think the coil should be hot when your running full speed(high)
It should only work on the low side(slow) speed.
I'm having trouble picturing your terminals you posted.
Have the same type switch(original two speed MoPar from the late fifties truck) on my WDX
However it is only two terminal.
How many wires on your motor?
Mine a MoPar Mod. 75 has two. one to the switch,one ground at the heater.
Your switch might be for a three wire motor,high,low,ground.
