Always wanted to restore a PW

Now I have the opportunity and was wondering if anyone would share some info on what to look for and especially what to look out for, red flags, etc., when searching for a project truck. I'm in the market for a flat fender civilian model, late 40's and 50's.

I appreciate any input.
