thanks for the pic. NOT! the 10W could be so light that the vacuum is sucking it up into the element clogging it or bogging your engine dwon because it is burning it. the air rushes down the sides of the bowl, acoross the top of the oil, then up through the element, a small amount of oil is supposed to dance up and create a film on the element so the paritcles that are not trapped in the bowl of oil are trapped but the oil coated wooly substance. But if the oil is too light it could be drawing up too much oil. there is a reason they have the specs that Vaughn posted.
