The inside dual does not change. No moving of the center, no welding, nothing. The inside wheels remain stock. The OUTSIDE dual is a unique wheel and can not be interchanged with any of the other four on the truck.

And if you go trying to install two stock 5.50 wheels with 7.50x16 tires back-to-back to make duals, they will have to be WWII 1/2-ton wheels for the proper backset for the tires to not touch. Civilian 5.50 wheels have less backset and can not be dualled with out using spacers between them.
