This is the engine that caused Ford to quit buying engines from Navistar and start making their own.
I think Navistar ironed out some of the problems in the later 6.0 engines, but Navistar engines in general have a poor reputation.
The 6 cylinder Cummings engine in the Dodge trucks seems to have the best reputation.
I just read that some of the new diesel engines have 800 ft/lbs of torque. Yikes!
