No problem,Try looking on the door post or where ever the info is posted on an 83' truck and see if you can find the make and model tranny and whether its a 3, 4, or 5 spd
You will need to find a 360 w/a flywheel for a manual tranny as the one from the slt-6 or 318 will not work and most 360's had auto trannies and finding a manual flywheel for a 360 will not be as easy as some but hopefully you'll luck out and find one quickly and at a good price (whatever that might be). Once you have the info above, it will be easier to find out what else you will need.Hang in there,learn and remember the basics and try not to get frustrated.
