Josh: Open the driver side door at look at the rear post. There should be a specifications tag riveted there that lists the axle model, axle capacity, spring capacity, axle ratio, and transmission among other information for that truck. Any special equipment should be listed on a separate tag. The 4 speed tranny is probably a NP 420 and the axle ratio with the 6 is probably 4.89 as opposed to 4.10, but check the stamped spec. tag to be sure.
