Here are some thoughts. Position the flatbed so there is no crossway rib above the rear tire; keep ribs fore and aft of the "wheelwell." Use 3 X 6 or 3 X 8 lumber on end, kept flat on top and cut along the bottom to match the curve of frame rail, to raise the flatbed above the truck frame. Ideally, the flatbed lengthwise rails sit exactly above the truck frame rails. Monut to frame with large U bolts, plates and nuts. If the rails are not centered on above the other, you will have problems mounting the flatbed. I do not have any advice for that situation.
