Someone posted this question a few months ago. The general response was that it wasn't a very good swap. Sounds like a smallblock V-8 was the way to go if you wanted to go through the trouble of making something non-stock fit. The trouble with the motor you mentioned was that it was larger and weaker than the smallblock.
