Why not spend the $1200 on a second set of mounted tires of a larger size? Then when you wanted to run faster on flat ground, you just swap wheels. You still have the option of using the original size tires for lower speed uses. I love the 5.83 gears in my PW and wouldn't think of going to the 4.89's. Top speed is no big deal for me
