You DO NOT want to get lost in Moab!!!!
Use a guide at least the first time and BE CAREFUL.
You have not lived (or died) until you get into trouble and try to walk out of the Moab area. 10 miles in that country can easily be forever! Be sure to take extra parts and WATER. Let someone know where you are going and when you plan to be back. If you breakdown or get stuck and cannot get out STAY WITH THE TRUCK. Under the truck is a great shady spot while you wait.
Do not plan on a cell phone for help either. It is a great place to play but a terrible place to die.
Have a great time but PLEASE BE CAREFUL
