I really didn't think there was much point in giving you full details of a British product that you couldn't buy in the US, there just has to be a US equivalent. it's used for mounting metal panels like wings (fenders) sills (rocker panels) and the like, basically where you want to stick them in position and move them round a little before you bolt them down. You would use it on a 'modern' vehicle most of the palces where you have welting on a PW or WC, hope this makes it clearer.
