Apparently all WM300 Power Wagons - except Harry's - were originally sold through dealers in Atlantis since we "all wet" folks ended up with trucks that did not have self adjusting brakes. If we could just find Atlantis, I'm sure the dealers would convert those WM300 brakes to the self adjusting kind. Until then, the most probable cause for those symptoms is that the master cylinder actuating rod adjustment does not allow the piston to return far enough to clear the relief port on single master cylinders. On WM300's with dual master cylinders, the service manual caution is that "the piston will cover the by-pass hole and result in pressure build-up and dragging brakes." Thank goodness all my service manuals have dried out.
