I went on my honeymoon in Banff in 2008 and it was awesome. I was told the drive from Banff to Jasper is the most beautiful drive in North America (3-4 hours each way) - we did it and I agree. There are lots of scenic overlooks, a glacier you can walk out on, and just the type of scenery that makes you wonder why you're living where you do when there are places like that out there.
