Ok, one problem with door glass.....

The outer glass run, the one nearest the handle, that goes from inside the door up the handle side, curves around and across the top. How do you put the bend in it without mess in up the little outside edges that can be seen?? I have everything ready to go, just that one problem. I tried putting it in and and buckled and bent the beading.
