not referring to any specific one. everything started going fine spline in the late 60s. someone figured out they are stronger and the industry has never looked back. I am thinking of going with lockers on my WC project and then I can run any side gear available in the locker and have axles made to fit the stock dimensions. maybe even have a fine splined drive flange or locking hub on the out ends.
