I agree. The side plates require those bends, or one would have to add spacers between them and the frame rails. The side plates would need to be removed from the truck in order to accurately trace from the backside - not an easy or quick thing to do.
T-roy. Where are your frame "shock plates"? Oh, and I think those black shock absorbers look tacky against the red hydraulic cylinders - maybe try yellow and red? ;^)
