They dropped the twin I beam a long time ago,don't ask me what year(not a ford guy)
Been using Dana or american axle like Dodge up front but with leaf spring until a year or so ago.
Now the Dana axle is on Coils and track arms like Dodge but I have to say Much stronger looking.
Only reason I know is the Contractor I work for has a few Fords, mostly GM.
Equipment supervisor just got a 2011 F350 4x4
I will say it's stout looking but that Junk Ford Diesel IMO.
