there are a number of choices in the stock 9.00 x 16 size. My personal favorite is the recently reproduced 10.50 x 16 directional also made by STA I believe. then next up is the 11.00 x 16 michelins. I had some of the XL version and it was a terrible snow and ice tire but did pretty good in other offorad conditions. with the 10.50 or the 11.00s you go a little faster because they are a few inches taller than the 9.00s. And, if you are running stock 5.83s and flathead with 4 speed every little bit helps. you gain aobut a 5 mph higher top speed with the tire change. taller tires is the least expensive way to go faster.
