I doubt this is a new idea, but it mite help someone. With my f.f. being fully altered for modern road use, I wanted to give more travel in the springs. what I came up with was to remove every other leaf, and in its place installed a strip of uhmw \ polymer. It comes in a sheet, can be cut in any metal shear, use a hand plane to ease the edge. truck sits at same height, and using a hyly technical test-[ jumping up and down on the back] seems to have about the same travel as my 3/4 ton -hevy. I just use the chevy to get parts to build the dodge
