We got a consistent 20 mpg in Dad's Ecoboost all the way to Cleveland and back. It runs way better than the 5.4L. It has more low rmp torque, and not shifting all the time, like the 2010 V-8. It runs smooth at 1,700-2,000 RPMs all the time.
I hate to say it, but it runs as good as a diesel.
