1 possible valves adjusted to tight. if engine is running rough with miss fires it will foul plugs. 2 check firing order. 3 if there is allot of heavy black smoke, check fuel pressure, possible Carb float problem. dont worry about setting the timing till the engine runs smooth. Good luck, Bill
