That is neither a Hemi or Max Wedge. The 426 marine engine has a top end like the 426 Street Wedge or a standard everyday 440. The head bolt pattern for the 426 Hemi is different than a wedge, and that is why you can't put Hemi heads on a 440 or any other big block. The Max Wedge heads will bolt on, put they have very large intake ports and require a special manifold be used so the port sizes match. It isn't a slight difference, it's over 1/4" in height. Not busting stones here guys, just clearing up a few very common misconceptions with the 426 engines.
