Add a Small amount of hardener to make it more durable. That Adds gloss to it also so not too much. I used 23070, a lighter OD which is late WWII to early 50's which my truck is and matched the original paint I found underneath. I didn't add the hardener and paint wears off the running boards and front bumper where I stand when under the hood. Depends on how much time you spend under the hood.
